Township of Perth East – Sunday Gun Hunting

Please be advised that on Tuesday May 3, 2016, the Township of Perth East will be holding a council meeting to discuss the potential adoption of Sunday gun hunting.   The meeting will take place at the Township of Perth East Administrative Office, in Council Chambers, located at 25 Mill Street East, Milverton, Ontario.  The meeting will begin at 7:30pm.

A representative from the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) will be making a presentation at this council meeting. We would appreciate and urge you to attend in support of Sunday gun hunting.

However, if you are unable to attend this meeting but would still like to show your support and have your voice heard, please send an e-mail to tcampbell@pertheast.ca (Theresa Campbell, Municipal Clerk, Township of Perth East). 

We would also respectfully ask that you copy OFAH head office on your e-mail at brian_mcrae@ofah.org (Brian McRae, OFAH Zone/Member and Club Services Liaison).

Your show of support could very well be the deciding factor on whether or not Sunday gun hunting is approved in the Township of Perth East.

It is extremely important for all hunters and trappers to show their support for the additional hunting and trapping opportunities that Sunday gun hunting within the Township of Perth East would provide.
