Communications

As outlined in the OFAH Strategic Plan, many of the organization’s short, medium and long-term goals are directly related to communications. Whether it’s through our flagship media holdings – Angler & Hunter Television, Ontario OUT OF DOORS magazine and Angler & Hunter Radio – our member’s only magazine – Angler & Hunter Hotline – press releases, social media, PSAs or the numerous television, radio and print interviews our staff conduct each year, OFAH communications helps ensure the merits of hunting, angling and conservation are spotlighted each year.

Social media

Whether your in the turkey blind, the tree stand, the bass boat or fishing off the dock, we know your smart phone is likely nearby. Share with us your prize buck, your big catch and your first-time experiences by visiting us on Facebook (ofah.org/facebook) and following us on Twitter (@ofah) and Instagram. Let us be your one-stop-shop for outdoors news and help us promote hunting, fishing, conservation and the great outdoors province-wide.

OFAH Insider

Ontario OUT of DOORS Magazine remains one of the best tools for directly communicating with our members. In 2018, the OFAH members-only section was overhauled and amalgamated with the main magazine to help broaden the reach of the OFAH across Ontario. The OFAH Insider section can be found near the front of each edition of OOD and it continues to bring readers important content and in-depth features that better bring to life the issues that matter most to our members and the outdoors community as a whole.
