An OFAH member club is one in which every member of the club is also a member of the OFAH. Insurance regulations require 100% membership compliance in order to provide club liability coverage.

Grass-roots dedication
It was the volunteer spirit of community-based, outdoor organizations that founded the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. Today, thousands of men, women and children are involved in OFAH member clubs accomplishing great things for conservation in their own communities.
OFAH club members get tremendous satisfaction from both aspects of club membership – the rewards of volunteering to enhance fish and wildlife habitat and the camaraderie of joining fellow outdoor enthusiasts. They form the backbone of local, regional, and provincial conservation projects and generously give their time and hard-earned dollars to promote our outdoor heritage.
OFAH Member Clubs represent the interests of fellow outdoor enthusiasts and help raise local concerns with issues affecting our natural resources while OFAH Head Office and OFAH zones keep member clubs informed of late-breaking conservation developments relevant to their communities.
The OFAH member clubs specialize in a variety of outdoor recreational interests such as fishing, hunting, trapping, target shooting, archery, falconry, dog training, and trials as well as cottagers’ activities and land access issues.
No sign-up fee, no interference
There is absolutely no “sign-up fee” or administration charges for your club to affiliate with the OFAH. As long as your club’s entire membership fees are paid in full, your club is considered affiliated and able to participate in the OFAH Club Insurance Program.
The OFAH will not interfere in any way with the internal workings of your club. OFAH head office staff and zone representatives are available for advice if requested and will sometimes ask for your club’s participation in certain activities. Your club is free to administer its business in the manner its membership chooses.
OFAH club members save almost 30% on OFAH membership and receive exactly the same benefits as individual OFAH members. We strive to keep membership rates low, and timely membership handling by the elected club officer goes a long way toward that goal.
