Toronto Sportsmen’s Show celebrates 66th year

Popular outdoors show changes venue and dates

Canada’s biggest and best outdoors show is returning to its roots on a new date. Doors to the 66th annual Toronto Sportsmen’s Show (TSS) will open Thursday, February 7 for four action-packed days at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place.

“The Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is a much anticipated event for our members. We’re thrilled to be part of the show, which is back once again at its long-time home, the Direct Energy Centre,” said OFAH Executive Director Angelo Lombardo. “For the first time in many years, the show will not coincide with the OFAH Annual General Meeting and Fish & Wildlife Conference, which is marking its 85th anniversary in March. This gives outdoors enthusiasts two distinct opportunities to celebrate their heritage.”

More than 450 exhibitors will be under one roof, offering everything from the latest hunting and fishing gear, to boats and ATV’s. The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) is proud to once again be hosting several booths, including OFAH Membership, Angler and Hunter Television (AHTV), OFAH Conservation Lottery, Ontario Angler Awards, and the Invasive Species Awareness Program.

The popular Ontario OUT OF DOORS Hunting Hall features 50,000 square feet of manufacturers and retailers devoted exclusively to the shooting sports. Be sure to check out the OFAH Hunting Seminar Stage line up of presentations designed to help you make the most of your time in the fields and woods. Simple stalking techniques, northwestern Ontario big buck tactics, crossbow strategies and moose calling are among the topics that will be covered by some of hunting’s most familiar names, including AHTV Host Mike Miller.

With over 100,000 members, subscribers and supporters, and 675 member clubs, the OFAH is the largest nonprofit, charitable, fishing, hunting and conservation-based organization in Ontario, and the voice of anglers and hunters.
