During Ontario Family Fishing Weekend, the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show will present free OFAH memberships with adult tickets purchased online at www.torontosportshow.ca
“At absolutely no extra charge, we are pleased to include an OFAH Paperless Membership with every adult show admission, purchased online between February 15 to 18,” said Jennifer Allaby, Vice President of the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show. “We want the outdoors community to experience OFAH membership as well as the great features and exhibitors at the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show.”
The Toronto Sportsmen’s Show runs March 13 to 17 at the International Centre on Airport Road. Adult admission, for ages 18 to 59, is $20.
An OFAH Paperless Membership is an added $25 value. Following this one-of-a-kind Family Day long weekend promotion, advance Sportsmen’s Show ticket buyers will be officially welcomed as new or renewing members of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. Existing OFAH members will earn a free one-year extension on their current expiry date.
OFAH spokesperson, Robert Pye, said membership includes Ontario OUT of DOORS digital magazine, $5 million in OFAH members’ insurance and an OFAH membership card to reaffirm the proud volunteer support for conservation work. Most importantly, OFAH membership is “a voice on outdoor issues,” he said.
“As part of Ontario Family Fishing Weekend, families will be thinking about more ways to spend quality time outdoors, and plans to attend the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show in March, with a membership in the OFAH, represents another proud outdoors commitment,” said Robert Pye. “We couldn’t think of a better weekend to present this special OFAH and Toronto Sportsmen’s Show promotion.”
Pye said family is exactly how 80,000 members of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters consider the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show which has been part of the OFAH family of conservation partners for over 70 years.
The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters and the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show help lead many of Ontario’s fishing outreach and conservation education initiatives and deliver a volunteer-based commitment to fisheries restoration and habitat improvement programs.
