The VOICE of Anglers and Hunters since 1928

Continued growth earns O.F.A.H. Zone F membership award

Growing awareness of the importance of conservation and protection of our hunting and fishing heritage are two significant reasons for the continuous growth of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters’ (O.F.A.H.) memberships, especially in eastern Ontario.

O.F.A.H. Zone F, which includes 123 clubs, encompasses an area bounded by Cornwall, Lake Ontario in the south, Hastings in the west, north to Arnprior along the Ontario-Quebec border. The increase in memberships earned the O.F.A.H. Zone the right to claim the Bob Pope Memorial Trophy at the O.F.A.H. 75th Annual General Meeting and Wildlife Conference Friday night in Hamilton.

“There are a great many conservation issues facing our natural resources, and we need a strong and unified voice to ensure our angling and hunting heritage is protected and enhanced for future generations. O.F.A.H. Zone F is helping us achieve that goal,” said O.F.A.H. Executive Director Mike Reader. “As more people become aware of how precious our hunting heritage and natural resources are to Ontario, they realize the need for the O.F.A.H. to act as their collective voice and they are signing up. Together we are making a positive difference,” added Reader.
