O.F.A.H. members flock to International Plowing Match
O.F.A.H. proud to sponsor Canada’s largest farming exhibition of its kind

As a sponsor of this year’s International Plowing Match & Rural Expo, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters is gearing up for this spectacular agricultural event running September 19 to 23, in the Village of Keene.

“The International Plowing Match & Rural Expo is a fantastic event, particularly for anglers and hunters who own farms and rural land or spend time every year in farm country,” said Robert Pye, Communications Coordinator for the 81,000-member Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. “Farmers and hunters have a lot in common. We recognize the importance of rural land and we know where our food comes from,” he said.

IPM & Rural Expo Marketing Coordinator, Shelley English said, “We are very pleased to welcome the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters as a partner of the International Plowing Match, and we look forward to seeing lots of O.F.A.H. members at our event.”

The International Plowing Match & Rural Expo features cultural and educational exhibits, antique machinery, demonstrations, an artisan marketplace, food, horse shows, live entertainment, the Queen of the Furrow competition, and more. This annual event, which changes location every year, attracts more than 100,000 people. During the Plowing Match, the O.F.A.H. will feature a special display with staff and volunteers on hand to talk about current political action campaigns, as well as O.F.A.H. youth and conservation programs.
