Law-abiding firearms owners’ organizations respond to scathing gun registry audit O.F.A.H., FQF and C.I.L.A. host press conference at 4:45 pm today The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, joined by the Quebec Wildlife Federation and the Canadian Institute for Legislative Action, were front and center today, in Ottawa, as Auditor General Sheila Fraser unveiled one of taxpayers’ worst accounting nightmares – among other things, over $60 million not accounted for properly in attempts to prop up the federal long gun registry. At 4:45 p.m. today, representatives for law abiding firearms owners will host a press conference to provide reaction to the Auditor General’s report concerning the costs of the Canadian Firearms Program and the future of the long gun registry.
