Fort Frances club regains conservation crown

The Fort Frances Sportsmen’s Club has regained the prestigious Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters’ (O.F.A.H.) Mary Pickford Trophy for outstanding conservation work.

The Fort Frances club won the award two years ago and have now taken it two of the last three years. Proud representatives of the Fort Frances club received the award at the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters’ 76th Annual General Meeting and Wildlife Conference held at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel in Toronto.

The Fort Frances club is involved in a variety of conservation projects including constructing birdhouses, tree planting, building beaver bafflers, and many youth programs.
