Borrow fishing equipment for free at St. Lawrence Power Development Centre
Whether you are eager to drop a line in the water and try fishing for the first time, or you don’t have access to the equipment needed to enjoy fishing, the OFAH/OPG TackleShare Program has you covered.
Head over to St. Lawrence Power Development Centre this weekend, as the TackleShare crew will deliver an interactive educational workshop, which includes introductory fishing instruction and lessons on invasive species, water safety, followed by fun games and activities and prizes for the kids!
What: Local media are invited to attend the day’s event, which will feature some fantastic photo and video opportunities highlighting youth learning to fish for the first time, guided by qualified instructors who are eager to pass on their passion for fishing and conservation.
