Ontario’s Natural Resources Minister to keynote O.F.A.H. Wildlife Conference

Hundreds of members of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (O.F.A.H.), are looking forward to comments from the Hon. David Ramsay, Minister of Natural Resources, at the upcoming 77th O.F.A.H. Annual General Meeting and Wildlife Conference in Toronto.

Considered Ontario’s largest annual gathering of fishing and hunting enthusiasts, the O.F.A.H. Wildlife Conference will feature expert speakers on a wide cross section of issues which are important to the outdoor community. The event will be held from February 17 to 19, 2005 at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel, on Dixon Road, in Toronto.

The Minister will speak about his government’s response to a variety of fish and wildlife issues while recognizing the O.F.A.H.’s contributions to Ontario’s fishing and hunting heritage.

“We’re delighted to welcome the Minister back as a featured speaker,” said Mike Reader, O.F.A.H. Executive Director. “For many of our members attending the conference, the Minister’s appearance is one of the highlights of the weekend, particularly since he takes the time to speak to as many individual members as possible. The O.F.A.H. works very closely with Minister Ramsay and his staff, and appreciates the significant progress that has been made on many issues since he took office.”

The O.F.A.H. is the largest, charitable conservation based organization in Ontario, with over 78,000 members and 650 member clubs.
