Ajax’s Frank Wick takes home top Conservationist award

Frank Wick, of Ajax, has been named the winner of the prestigious Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters’, (O.F.A.H.) Gord Blake Memorial Conservation Award for 2003.

Mr. Wick received what is regarded as one of the province’s highest awards for conservation, at the O.F.A.H. 76th Annual General Meeting and Wildlife Conference held at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel in Toronto.

A member of the O.F.A.H.,the Pickering Rod and Gun Club, the Ajax Fish and Game Club and the South Central Ontario Big Game Association, Mr. Wick has a long history of working to protect our valuable natural resources.

Mr. Wick is an active angler and hunter, along with being a long-time hunter safety instructor and firearms instructor and a qualified hunter safety examiner and has served on the O.F.A.H. Board of Director for many years.
