Proposed provincial hunting and fishing heritage legislation recognizing the enormous contributions of the outdoors conservation community should be warmly received by the provinces’ 2 .4 million anglers and hunters and their families.
Fish and wildlife are thriving in this province, and much of this success story is a result of angler and hunter involvement in resource management. Legislation recognizing these contributions helps remove unfair stereotypes and should help promote healthy, family-oriented outdoor activities.
