Proceedings of the Premier’s Symposium

On August 23 through 27 2000 the Premier’s Symposium on North America’s Hunting Heritage brought together over 700 delegates to discuss and make recommendations on the future of hunting.

The success of this gathering, the first ever to be held in Canada, will be measured in the coming years as the outdoors community deals with issues such as public image, animal rights, gun control, environment, conservation and so much more.

During the Symposium’s closing proceedings, O.F.A.H. President Bob Allen pledged to ensure the good work of the delegates would be available for the world to see. The following information outlines the proceedings of the Premier’s Symposium and touches on the extraordinary efforts of delegates to find solutions to the challenges faces our hunting heritage.
